Abstract : Impairments of inter-symbol interference and beat noise in coherent time-spreading optical code-division-multiple-access are investigated theoretically and experimentally by sweaping the data-rate from 622Mbps up to 10 Gbps with 511-chip superstructured fiber bragg grating. The BER improvement by using optical thresholding technique has been verified in the experiment.
