Abstract : A novel optical generation and optical frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transport of 60GHz band millimetre(mm)-wave signals is proposed and experimentally demonstrated over 40km long singlemode optical fibre. The generated mm-wave signals with the narrow linewidths of < 300Hz are obtained.
